Sister + Sister Photography Team
Being a sister photography team has its advantages. Yes, we can read each other's minds and communicate without even speaking full sentences. We both bring a different style and way of thinking when it comes to a photo. Which when combined harmonizes into what you see on this site.

Being the younger sibling I learned about my love for photography from of my older sister. She always had a camera in hand. Always trying to capture some moment either on family vacations or just hanging out with friends. She was the one to put my first real camera in my hand. That being an old Pentax film camera. I have always had a passion for the arts and photography was just another way I could tell a story by creating something beautiful. When I don't have a camera in hand I'm either drawing, painting, or reading. I also enjoy traveling, especially abroad, but nothing can beat spending quality time with family and friends.

Cameras have always fascinated me.
As a kid, knowing that with the press
of a button, I was actually able to freeze moments was powerful. I started out with film cameras, one of my favorites being an old Polaroid that I "borrowed" from our parents. This really was the beginning of my love for photography and that love has only grown deeper over time. Take away my camera and I enjoy spending time with my husband and traveling to new and exciting places.
Why Did We Start Thistle & Rose Photography?
It was our joined love of photography and adventure that made us want to start Thistle and Rose Photography. We will let you decide who exactly is the Thistle and who is the Rose. Hint- it changes from day to day!
